Customs and Tourism Enterprises (GTI) Inc. General Assembly was held in Ankara with the participation Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.
In his speech at the General Assembly, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu thanked those who contributed to the successful efforts of GTİ.
Hisarcıklıoğlu said Turkey's foreign trade made half of their land border crossings, but for many years the investment in customs gates as a lot of problems that come due to the bad conditions and cause additional costs and added that they took the first step in 2005 in order to solve the members’ problems.
Stating that GTİ AŞ has become the most successful example of public-private cooperation, TOBB President has shown that it has become an exemplary project in the world and the United Nations has shown this project to the whole world as the UN exemplifies by stating “if you want to make the Customs safe and fast, do it like Turkey, do as the TOBB”.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of GTI Arif Parmaksız gave information about the company's activities in 2018.
