Kızıltepe Commodity Exchange met with representatives of the Cotton Business. Representatives to the Business group was created in order to provide the demands and expectations as well as to develop the problems and solutions offered for the cotton business.
Çetin Timurağaoğlu was elected as the chairman of the Cotton Sector workshop group by our sector representative members.
Topics covered in the meeting agenda were as follows: Provision of training and information activities to enable Cotton Producers to be more conscious and equipped, Training activities for farmers in rural areas in cooperation with Kızıltepe Commodity Exchange and Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, Conducting studies to increase the number of collecting machines, Determination of Loss and Productivity ratios, Lack of price determination of cotton markets, Participated in the establishment of the Cotton Licensed Warehouse.
The President of Board of Directors Mehmet Şahin said “We will establish our business plans in line with the opinions and suggestions submitted by our members in the meetings we will organize and to establish closer relations and cooperation with our Commodity Exchange Members.
