Turkey Chambers and Stock Exchanges Union (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu presided "TOBB Accreditation Workshop" on 17-19 October 2019 in Diyarbakir with the participation of 300 Chamber and Commodity Exchange Representatives, which lasted for 3 days and held for the first time in Turkey, was attended by Kızıltepe Commodity Exchange President Mehmet Şahin, General Secretary Abdulkadir Şahin and Accreditation Director Metin Sert.
Pointing out the importance of accreditation, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We have to renew and improve ourselves continuously. We need to have a corporate structure and work professionally. Here is the best roadmap for us in this regard for accreditation system. As an indicator of the importance we attach to this devotion as TOBB management, we constantly revise the system and criteria. In order to be more objective and more efficient; we always increase the resources we devote to inspections, visits and trainings. We are constantly improving the system and making it better.”
In his speech, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Brand cities and Chambers, which are brands at the basis of districts and pointed out “You will take the leadership and make our community and guide our entrepreneurs to make your city a brand. You will mobilize all stakeholders in the provinces and districts. At this point, we need to continue to collect the demands and needs of our members and companies in order to increase the service quality even further. "
TOBB President explained that samples are taken abroad of the room stock system in Turkey, "President of the Association of German Chambers happened to us and said that our guests have a lot to learn from you," he said.
Underlining that they need to raise standards even further, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “There is no stopping because we have succeeded, because not only countries in the world come to branding. provinces and even districts become brands and stand out in competition. You are the opinion leaders of the province. Brand provinces, districts are the basis of the chambers-commodity exchanges. In order to make your city a brand, you will also take the leadership and guide our community and entrepreneurs. You will mobilize all stakeholders in the provinces and districts. At this point, in order to further increase the quality of service, we need to continue to gather the demands and needs of our members and companies. We need to see how they expect more service from us. We need to be active and working institutions of the quality that suits our community”.
