Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) disclosed the data on herbal products’ prices unit and production values for the year 2014. Wheat (other) price went up by %10.6 and have become 0.74 TL. Corn price went up by 1.8% and have become 0,62 TL, paddy by 67,6% and have become 1,81 TL, sunflower for oil by 26,2% and have become 1,75 TL and chickpeas came down by 5% Onion price came down by 0.8% percent. Scallion came down by 6% and have become 1,78 TL, cabbage by 0,8% and have become 0,62 TL, table cucumber by 4,9% and have become 1,07 TL and green pepper by 2% and have become 1,39 TL. Seedless table grapes came down by 21.2%. Banana price went up by 22,7% and table olive by 18.3% and Washington orange by 5.9%. Walnut from nuts went up by 85,4%. Total plant value went up by 6% than last year. Total plant production value has become approximately 98 billion TL. Grains and other herbal production value went up to 42 billion TL by going up 7,4%. Vegetable production value went up by 1.9% and has become 26.1 billion TL and fruit, drinks and medical plants production value went up by 7.7% and has become 29.9 billion TL. |
